You want to know Montana TroutAholic Guide ~ Zac Sexton?
Zac grew up in Buffalo, Wyoming, which is situated at the foot of the Bighorn Mountains. He has been fly-fishing since age 11, tying flies since he was 15, and guiding fly-fishing since age 18.
Since his childhood, he has worked as a University of Idaho Outdoor Program guide for hiking, rock climbing, canoeing, kayaking, and fly-fishing. He also worked for the US Forest Service as a hydrology and fisheries technician, and worked as an outdoor columnist for the Lewiston Morning tribune in Lewiston, Idaho. His writing has been published in several newspapers, magazines and a book.
Zac is currently working on his own book project, An Angler's Photo-Illustrated Guide to Cutthroat Trout, that is due to be published by Headwater Books.
Zac has caught every sub-species of Cutthroat trout there is! He has fly-fished the Atlantic, Pacific, Gulf of Mexico, and many places in-between, catching many different species of fish, and a couple turtles along the way.
When not writing or fishing, Zac finds himself planing strips of bamboo and making beautiful fly rods in his dusty garage.
