Master Guide - Joel Thompson

Our guides are hand picked to provide a fishing experience that TroutAholics is known for. They have years of experience in hunting and stalking trout to find out what they are eating and then fooling them with a fly and BANG you have a fish on your line.

We provide our anglers with a unique experience, pointing out the wildlife, like a bald eagle's nest around a bend in the river, maybe a fawn just days old......yes - fly fishing is the most important part of the trip but sometimes it is nice to just reel in your line and sit back to enjoy your surroundings.

A Few Words From Montana TroutAholic Outfitters Guide Ron Snow:

“I love to fly fish. I love to catch fish on the fly.

I really love to catch fish on a dry fly.

My favorite thing though, is to bring beginners into this adventure we call fly fishing.

Women are usually my fastest learners. Children are the most enthusiastic and I love their smiles when everything comes together. I just love to share the river, the fog, the sunrise and sunsets, the whole experience with folks that don’t get to enjoy this kind of stuff in their day to day life. It really is, a life changing thing.

Come, change your life."
